”Basis of Nihon Buyo”, by Chiyo Hanayagi

At the end of last year, Chiyo Hanayagi, published the book on training of Nihon Buyo in English. The title of the work is "Nihon Buyo no Kiso"(Basis of Nihon Buyo). She finished this work with great effort. Even in Japanese original version, the work is pupular. Prof. Leonard Pronko, Professor of Theatre, Pomona College (http://www.theatre.pomona.edu/about/bio/pronko.htm) translated this work into English.
This is one of most important practical training books in Nihon Buyo. the work is known and loved for years. Pronko finally did great work. Western directors and scholars have strong interest and are ordering the book.
